From March 15 to 21, 2026, a seminar on digitalization and paperless operations in the nuclear industry was held at Temelín Nuclear Power Plant (Chech Republic) with the support of the World Association of Nuclear Operators, Paris Centre (WANO).

During the seminar, participants discussed the importance of digital transformation for the safe and efficient operation of nuclear facilities, as well as regulatory and safety aspects of transitioning to digital processes. Special attention was given to modern digital tools, document management systems, automation, mobile solutions, and other aspects of implementing paperless technologies.

The Ukrainian delegation, represented by Maksym Protsenko and Serhii Honcharov, presented the current status of digitalization and paperless processes at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant and also gained valuable insights into global best practices, which are planned to be adapted to support further development of the plant.
