On May 24 works on NSC foundations needle piles installation in the Shelter object local area are completed.
In total 424 piles with 1 meter in diameter were driven at the depth 20 meters. Number of piles had to be installed at the different sections of NSC service zone was identified based on the soil characteristics near the facility and presence of communications under ground ensuring Unit 4 functioning within the period of its operation.
Currently, NSC service area foundations grills arrangement is under way at the southern section. As of May 27, 2014 concreting is carried out on 21 percents, reinforcement – on 54 percents. Similar works has been completed at the northern part.
