From 11 to 12 June 2024, Chornobyl NPP employees participated in the international cybersecurity workshop held in Prague organized by the WANO Paris Centre.
During the event, the Chornobyl NPP specialists shared their extensive experience in cybersecurity, discussed the achievements and challenges faced by the plant amidst the ongoing war in Ukraine, and actively engaged in discussions on modern approaches to protecting the facility under current conditions.
Participants focused particularly on challenges related to supply chains and strategies for enhancing emergency preparedness.
Exchanging practical experiences with international colleagues enabled the Ukrainian experts to gain new insights and modern methodologies, which they plan to implement to enhance the protection of information resources and comply with international information security standards at the Chornobyl NPP.
Participation in such international events not only facilitates experience exchange but also strengthens partnerships with leading cybersecurity experts, which is critically important for Ukraine’s energy security.
