For the Day of the National Flag and the 33rd anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, the solemn event was held in honor of the National symbols and to remind about the importance of the independence for our state.
As part of the celebration, the plant’s employees took a joint photo with the Ukrainian flag in front of the main building, demonstrating unity and patriotism. The photo became a symbol of collective unity at this important time for the country.
Serhii Martynov, Acting Director of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, in his speech, emphasized the importance of the National Flag as a symbol of Freedom, Independence and Indomitability of the Ukrainian people. He also noted, that even in the face of constant challenges, the Chornobyl NPP team remains at the forefront, ensuring safety and stability in the Exclusion zone.
"This day is a symbol of our strength, unity and resilience. We are proud of the fact that we can contribute to the future of our country, and we will never forget those who gave their lives for the freedom of Ukraine", said Acting Director of ChNPP in his address.
The festive events ended with a collective performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine, which became another expression of patriotism and dedication to preserving national independence.
