Firefighting efforts are ongoing. As of 13:00, work on the NSC continues. The firefighting team consists of nine SES rope access specialists, actively engaged in extinguishing the fire. Operations to open and soak two affected areas are in progress. An additional 21 rope access specialists are on standby. Three openings have been made, totaling approximately 2 square meters.
Three fire hoses are in operation, with continued soaking of the insulation and membrane. The situation is being monitored using a thermal imaging UAV.
The radiation levels at the Chornobyl NPP industrial site remain within permissible limits. On the NSC roof, at the worksite, the radiation level is 186.7 µSv/h.
A total of 85 SES personnel and 18 units of equipment are involved in the response.
