The scheduled works are being implemented at ChNPP, and the personnel works as planned.
Two commissions are working to investigate reasons of partial destruction of building structures of the Turbine Hall. One commission is created by SSE ChNPP General Director’s Order, and another one is established according to the instructions of SNRIU.

Another commission to investigate the incident at Unit 4 Turbine Hall will be established at Chernobyl NPP. This is required by an order of the State Nuclear Regulation Inspectorate of Ukraine. This investigation will be conducted by the commission in accordance with internal ChNPP procedures in compliance with the "Regulation on the investigation and recording of violations in Nuclear Power Plants operation" NP 306.2.100-2004.

Representatives of the State Nuclear Safety Inspection at SSE “Chernobyl NPP” site will be involved in commission's activity.

Also, according to regulations, ChNPP within one week should develop and agree with SNRIU corrective actions for additional drain water and contaminated dust management, which can be generated during the time, necessary for repair of a damaged roof and side walls of Unit 4 Turbine Hall.
