
As of 24.01.2022 and from the pandemic beginning 686 COVID-19 cases were confirmed among the SSE ChNPP staff.
Among them:
• 662 persons were discharged recovered;
• 22 persons are under ambulatory treatment, in a state of moderate severity;
• 2 persons passed away.
Among staff no contacts identified with persons who have tested positive for COVID-19 by PCR.



On December 24, the Chornobyl NPP site hosted an emergency drill on "Aircraft crash on the Chornobyl NPP territory". The training was attended by Plant’s staff, representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Chornobyl town Medical and Sanitary Unit. The event took place under the supervision of inspectors of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine.
At the end of December, the project to train Chornobyl NPP specialists in operation, maintenance and repair of BROKK manipulators was officially completed.
On 14 December, Ukraine and the world honour the Liquidators of the Consequences of the Chornobyl Unit 4 Accident.
