
The meeting of the Information Exchange Groups on Technical Assistance to Ukraine in the Field of Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security was held in Krakow (Poland) and was a continuation of the dialogue in the format of Ukraine - the participating states of the G7 Group Initiative “Global Partnership against the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Related Materials”.
The Chornobyl NPP was represented by Director of Operations Serhii Kalashnik and Deputy Head of the International Cooperation and Information Department Valentyna Odynytsia.


On the 7th of October, 2025 the new team of the IAEA experts arrived to Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant site. It is already the 50th rotation of the IAEA permanent monitoring mission at the site.


In September 2025, as part of the implementation of Project U4. 01/18B ‘Modernisation of the Dosimetric Control system in the Exclusion zone and Environmental (radiation) monitoring at the Vector complex and the Buryakivka waste disposal site,’ the Individual Dosimetric Control Laboratory of the Radiation Safety Department received new equipment for IDC.
