On June 05, 2024, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law On Ratification of Framework Agreement between the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Regarding the International Chernobyl Cooperation Account.
Ratification of the Framework Agreement will enable to create a mechanism for managing the activities of the International Chernobyl Cooperation Account (ICCA) and to give grants to Ukraine for support and funding of nuclear and radiation safety projects at Chornobyl NPP site and in Exclusion Zone. It is also important that these projects will be focused on recovering the damage caused by the invasion of armed forces of the russian federation, namely on restoring the safe conditions at ChNPP, in the Exclusion Zone, as well as at other nuclear installations and radioactive waste management facilities in Ukraine.

On May 16, Chornobyl NPP industrial site and Exclusion Zone were visited by a delegation consisting of Director General for International Order, the United Nations and Arms Control at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany Dr. Günter Sautter, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine H.E. Mr. Martin Jaeger, and accompanying team.
In 2024, the office premises of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant were colourful due to the embroidery patterns on emploees` shirts, blouses and dresses. Stylised shirts, replica shirts, modern shirts and dresses are all evidence that Ukrainian vyshyvanka is a vital phenomenon and popular nationally oriented clothing.
From 17 to 19 April 2024, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine (SNRIU) conducted an inspection survey of the State Specialised Enterprise Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
This week, the Clean Future Found (CFF) team realized its mission of assistance in Ukraine again. The main purpose of the visit was to assess the dog population and provide the necessary medical care to the animals.
